DANCE CLASSES 

Comprehensive curriculum designed to ensure the proper development of young bodies. Under our professional faculty, students will enhance coordination, creativity, teamwork, task-mastering, confidence, and learning skills. 

Explore Rhythms, Creative Making, Movement Theories and Elementary Technical Concepts. We honor dance as an art form and not as competitive sport or pageantry.

CREATIVE ARTS 

Welcome to our creative arts class!  Here, students embark on an exciting journey through various mediums, techniques, and styles. From painting and drawing to sculpture and 3-Dimensional art, young artists will have the opportunity to explore creativity through engaging projects.

In this fun and nurturing environment, we encourage each individual to express their unique artistic voice and flourish in their creative journey. Join us in celebrating creativity and collaboration!

Recreational Program Age 6-9

Our Recreational Program is perfect for students who want the flexibility to take one or multiple of the below classes at their own pace. Open to both new and returning students, this program has no prerequisites or class requirements, allowing participants to explore the performing and creative arts on their own terms.

• Foundations of Dance 1

Mondays 4:00-5:00pm 

Students are introduced to the beginnings of Classical Ballet Technique in a positive, supportive, inspiring, and creative environment.  This class will also introduce students to Modern Dance and Jazz Dance Techniques, creating an upbeat and fun experience while learning the classical and contemporary foundations.  Classes focus on developing strength, flexibility, musicality, self-confidence and awareness, and love for dance.  

• Creative Arts  1

Mondays 5:00-6:00pm

Young minds will explode with creativity in this fun and inspiring class. Students are mentored in a nurturing, supportive, and progressive environment that celebrates individuality and personal development.  Throughout the year students explore painting, drawing, collaborative projects, creative making, 3-Dimensional art, and more!

• Tap Dance 1  

Thursdays 4:00-5:00pm 

This engaging class will introduce your child to fundamental tap techniques, terminology, and the rich history behind this energetic dance form. Through a fun and upbeat atmosphere, students will enhance their rhythm, coordination, and creativity while developing strong technical and musicality.

•Theatre  1 

 Thursdays 5:00-6:00pm

Children will explore the basics of stage direction, acting, ensemble singing, movement, stage presence, character development, improvisation, and imaginative play in a safe and supportive environment.  Children build self-confidence and awareness through a series of exercises, games, and collaborations.  Students will also explore puppetry, costume design, and storytelling.  

This is a wonderful program for all children to let their creative voice shine.

• Hip Hop / Acro 1  

Thursdays 6:00-7:00  

Hip Hop is a fun and exciting class where students learn coordination, rhythm, and how to GROOVE! This class is designed for students to let loose and DANCE! Hip Hop choreography and freestyle dance promote coordination, rhythm, and confidence.  Students will also engage with acro dance, tumbling and floor work.

Youth Conservatory Program Age 7-10

The Complex Conservatory is an elite pre-professional training program for exceptional young artists who are committed to pushing their craft to the highest level. Designed for those who thrive in a rigorous and focused environment, this program offers expert mentorship, advanced technical training, and the opportunity to explore multiple artistic disciplines or specialize in a single area of study. Students train alongside other highly motivated artists, challenging and inspiring one another to reach new heights. More than just a program, The Complex Conservatory is a community of dedicated, driven individuals who are shaping the future of the arts through discipline, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Conservatory Program Admission
Admission is by invitation and/or audition only.

How It Works:

1. Full Program Hours: Mondays 4:00-6:30pm, Tuesdays 4:00-6:00pm, and Wednesdays 4:00-7:00pm
2. Students choose the Full Program or The Dance Track (excludes Theatre and Creative Art)
3. Students must take all required classes in their chosen track to join the Conservatory classes.
4. Students at the Youth Level are members of the Youth Dance Company and will have various performance opportunities.

• Youth Dance Company Ballet  

Mondays 4:00-5:00pm 

Youth Ballet students are introduced to the beginnings of proper technique for ballet in a positive, inspiring, and creative environment. Each week students perform a classical barre, expand knowledge of technical exercises and concepts, practice petite allegro, center work, progressions and grande allegro.  Classes focus on developing strength, flexibility, musicality, self-confidence and awareness, and love for dance. Class focus is placed on developing strength, flexibility, musicality, self-confidence and awareness, and love for dance.  

• Youth Dance Company Modern    

Mondays 5:00-6:00pm 

Modern dance is a highly expressive form of dance that challenges the structured  technique of classical ballet. The focus of modern dance is expression, rather than following a rigid set of postures or technical positions that ballet dancers are trained in. Modern dance movements are considered freeform and fluid, and are often inspired by other dance styles—for example: African dance, Jazz dance, and folk dance.

• Youth Dance Company Rehearsal    

Mondays 6:00-6:30pm 

Youth Dance Company members will meet weekly to learn new choreography for various performance opportunities throughout the year.  

• Youth Dance Company Jazz   

Tuesdays 4:00-5:00pm

• Youth Creative Arts Class  

Wednesdays 4:00-5:00pm 

Young minds will explode with creativity in this fun and inspiring class. Students are mentored in a nurturing, supportive, and progressive environment that celebrates individuality and personal development.  Throughout the year students explore painting, drawing, collaborative projects, creative making, 3-Dimensional art, creative writing, and theatre arts (prop making, set design, costume design)

• Youth Theatre Company Class  

Wednesdays 5:00-6:00pm 

Students will explore stage direction, acting, ensemble singing, movement for acting, stage presence, character development, improvisation, and imaginative play in a safe and supportive environment.  Children build self-confidence and awareness through a series of exercises, games, and collaborations.  Students will also explore puppetry and storytelling.  

• Youth Hip Hop / Acro Class  

Wednesdays 6:00-7:00pm 

This structured, high-energy class integrates hip hop technique with foundational acro skills, focusing on strength, control, and musicality. Dancers will develop precision in hip hop movement, including footwork, isolations, and transitions, while incorporating acro elements such as rolls, inversions, and balance work. Emphasis is placed on proper form, coordination, and building the strength necessary for more advanced movement. This class is designed for dancers looking to refine their technique and expand their physical abilities in a disciplined yet dynamic environment.

Students enroll for the full season (prorated if beginning late) unless class is otherwise noted.

Tuition rates are for all genres of Art Classes.  Students may enroll in multiple genres for the tuition price listed.

1 Hour Class - $80 per month
2 Hours per week - $150 per month
3 Hours per week - $195 per month
4 Hours per week - $230 per month
5 Hours per week - $255 per month
6 Hours per week - $275 per month
Unlimited Hours per week - $300 per month 

Private Music - $38 per 30 minute lesson
